ROB HOWARD

Acclaimed watercolourist Rob Howard was a student of Art and Design in the late 1970's the early years were divided between ceramics and life drawing. A long interest in sketching and exploring has been the background to settling in the West Highlands of Scotland. For over twenty years his work was a feature of Solas Gallery at the coastal village of Gairloch.He has now relocated to the beautiful Scottish Borders.

Rob considers watercolour to be the ideal medium with which to interpret the atmospheric changes of colour and light in landscape. Previously concentrating on the drama of the North West coast, wild glens, dramatic seascapes and mountains.

His original style continues to delight both old and new collectors of his paintings.
